Totally rare original pressing of the break beat and Funk classic. Frank Abel, Arthur Young, Donny Donable, Leroy Gomes, LaFayette Hudson, Ronnie James and Michael Mc Ewan were all living in Paris at that time and recorded two legendary records as The LaFayette Afro-Rock Band back in the early 70s.
You all know the drum break track „Hihache“ from their „Soul Makossa“ LP. Malik features some more unknown tracks of the band. There are several nice sampling oppurtunities and rare groove tracks to be found. Drum breaks and loops! Way better than Cane & Abel, J.J. Band, T.N.T.H. or Ice record. „Darkest Light“ is one of my favorite tunes ever. Frank Abel at his best! This is one of the most sought-after Funk records out of Europe. Your chance to buy this rarity. Very clean copy. Vinyl is perfect (stone mint)!
