Description

Led Zeppelin 1 - Stereo 588 171 - 1969 First Pressing - Turquoise Lettering on Cover

Side 1 Matrix Code: 588 171 A//1

Side 2 Matrix Code: 588 171 B//1

You are bidding on an original first pressing 'Led Zeppelin 1' LP on the Atlantic label with RED/PLUM labels.

Vinyl: (Excellent)

This is a very rare and extremely well looked after LP, which shows only light signs of sleeve scuffing from very rare use over the last 36 years. The vinyl is in remarkable condition and plays with a crisp, sharp and deep resonance that is normally only found with a new remastered heavy vinyl copy, or in this case, an original first pressing from the master tapes!

There are no scratches, jumps, or pops and only the faintest of background crackle to the intro of 'babe i'm gonna leave you', and the organ intro to 'Your time is gonna come'.

Cover: (Excellent)

Sleeve opening at front is slightly feathered , particularly where right thumb opens front cover. There are seven light semi-circular creases to right side of front cover, consistent with normal use over 36 years. The bottom right corner of the front cover has feathered slightly, but the laminate front cover and back is totally intact, despite light creasing.

Inner Sleeve: (Good)

White polylined inner sleeve is yellowed and split to right side with a 6" tear where record has leaned to right.

Please Note: This LP plays like Near Mint!
