Led Zeppelin 'Led Zeppelin II'.
Original UK Atlantic red & plum label stereo press LP.
The classic second Zep album, with the first press corrected 'Livin' Lovin' Maid' & 'Lemon Song' label texts & the Jimmy Page credit on the label, the 2nd label variation, with the earliest A-2 B-2 matrices! The E. J. Day Group matt gatefold sleeve is intact, with some light corner/edge wear & some light storage rubbing/ring wear on the outer cover, with a small crease/tear in the opening of the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner dated 11/9 is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of very faint sleeve removal hairlines and scuffs which do not affect play visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two very faint spindle markings on each side! The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; 2588198, A-2 stamper 1-1-29 (reversed), B-2 stamper 1-3-21. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1969 UK stereo issue of this album!!
