Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of the Led Zeppelin 1971 release 'Led Zeppelin 4' or 'Symbols'.
The record is a first issue UK stereo pressing on the maroon and orange Atlantic labels.
Cat no 2401012 The matrix A//3 and B//3 with Pecko Pork and porky etchings.
Grading :
The album is in EX, under light there's just a few hairlines. The sound is superb with only some low level surface noise in between tracks and quieter sections of the record. Stairway to heaven sounds superb. This record is not only a first matrix pressing but also has the label error for the track 'Misty Mountain Hop' stating 'Misty Mountain Top' (which I think is a much better title!)
The unlaminated gatefold cover is in Good condition, with a sticker tear top left front and browned cellotape around the edge. The flipback inner is also included with a tear at the opening and historical cellotape applied around the edges to prevent splitting.
