Description

For bid today - Rare - Lee Konitz  "Lee Konitz Groups" Original mono 1955 Prestige LP 7004 "RVG" stamp in dead wax with W 50th ST NYC Address on the yellow black fireworks label . 
I will start by saying this is not a perfect record....but it is an original press......and it is a great player from start to finish!  I cleaned it on my nitty gritty and it sounds awesome with a few pops & clicks here and there throughout......but nothing to really "get in the way." Many parts have no surface noise at all.  There are a few "feelable" marks here & there, but it plays through with no problem.  If you are looking for an original great sounding record to add to your collection, this should make you very happy. If you are looking for a flawless copy, this is certainly not it. 
Sleeve is VG+ and is quite nice with a 4 inch split on the top right edge.   Also a little corner wear and some back cover fading, but overall a nice looking cover.
