LEE MORGAN "THE COOKER" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1578. Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is Deep Groove on both sides with the "ear" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick carboard cover. The personnel: Lee Morgan/trumpet; Pepper Adams/baritone sax; Bobby Timmons/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; "Philly" Joe Jones/drums. The vinyl is in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful sheen, no marks of any kind). The thick laminated cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully: bright and clean with tight seams. There are NO seam splits of any kind, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. The songs are: A Night In Tunisia; Heavy Dipper; Just One Of Those Things; Lover Man; New-Ma. A fabulous copy of this Blue Note gem, about as nice as you'll ever see.
