Description

Released on a Trojan 12" catalogue number TACK 22 in 1980, this is a great roots rhythm with a Linval Thompson vocal for about two and a half minutes then a five and a half minute Scientist workout of the rhythm.........A proper dub.  The track was recorded at Channel One and mixed at King Tubby's by Scientist.  On the A side the vocal is all on one channel whilst the rhythm is on the other, the vocal comes into the middle after about two minutes then the song goes into the dub, the whole track is then started again as a dub version. Check it out here: Not my copy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJw04ZGch8I The B Side is a completely different rhythm, if you look up the track Second Hand Girl by Scientist it just brings up the dub to the A side, but please be aware that this is not the track on this 12". It is a dub cut to another song, there is a tiny snippet of vocal in the mix but I don't recognise either the singer or the song, I have tried to find it but to no avail.  The vinyl is visually graded as excellent with no visible marks or scuffs, there is tiny bit of spindle wear on the label.  The record comes in a red Trojan Special 12" single sleeve.  Both sides play very well with no faults.
