Jamaican stereo import re-release gatefold original soundtrack to ‘Oliver!’ (1968, dir. Carol Reed), featuring songs written by Lionel Bart and a score by Johnny Green.

The Best Picture of 1968 starred Ron Moody, Oliver Reed, Harry Secombe, Shani Wallis, Mark Lester and Jack Wild.

Disc label reads 'made in Jamaica'. Sleeve made in Canada.

Lionel Bart – Oliver! An Original Soundtrack Recording (1968)
Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): VINYL: VG. Looks fantastically clean on visual inspection. Side 1 has a few hairlines and scuffs. Side 2 has more obvious marks, but nothing major – and no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is great throughout. Just some mild static/surface noise at run-ins. Light surface noise between cues. Some tracks sound brighter than others but vocals overall sound superb. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G-VG. Colours are clear and unfaded. Thick matt gatefold card sleeve featuring original poster release cover which has mild rubbing all over. Nicks/creases to corners but bottom right buckled and scuffed. Aperture slightly nicked. Edges scuffed (mild at bottom, more severe at top). Spine scuffed but text readable and not split. Reverse has disc outline scuffing near bottom. Inner gate soiling and stain around edges but inner content clean. A good example overall. INNER SLEEVE: VG. White sleeve with curved corners. Some mild crimping, and creasing but intact.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
