Lisa Richards – ‘Take A Chance’ / ‘Mean Old World’ – Vocalion 9244 (UK)
Cracking 1965 dancer backed with an absolutely sublime ballad. Originally on the tiny Jovial label with ‘Let’s Take A Chance’ [sic] as the topside, it was subsequently flipped, title shortened, and picked up for national distribution by Duke-Peacock’s Sure-Shot subsidiary. Here we have it in a particularly collectable format, on UK Vocalion in top nick and complete with the original sleeve!
Condition: Excellent; a little dust, that’s all (please listen to the clips). Clean labels save for tiny lines in red marker pen on both sides. The sleeve is in nice shape, lightly wrinkled and with only some small stains – tea or coffee, by the looks of it (please see scans).

Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.
American bidders, kindly note that shipping to the US is not US $4.00; this is eBay’s default setting and not applicable as I am based in Sweden. Please use the postage rates above, or wait for my invoice. Thank you!
