Description

Artist: Los Shains.

Title: "Pancito Caliente/ Mirandote" 

Label: Sono Radio 13133. 

Pressing: 13133A HPT 13133B HPT

Format:  7", 45 rpm.

Year of Release: Late 60's.

Country of Manufacture: Peru.

Label Type  Blue and White textured labels, Black and white Sono Radio logo and black lettering.

Condition of sleeve: El Virrey non oem sleeve.

Condition of labels: Very Good with some light friction wear and a pen mark applied by the radio station. Radio station stamp.

Condition of vinyl:  Side 1: Very Good+.  Side 2: Very Good+.

 

Brief Summary of Condition                

Supplied in a plain aftermarket sleeve. Labels are reasonably clean with some friction wear but nothing significant otherwise there is no damage. A pen mark on side 2 and a radio station stamp on both sides. The vinyl has no worrying surface marks, just a few light surface scratches but still retaining a nice sheen. As with all my records they have been carefully wet vacuum cleaned and play-tested from start to finish using a very high quality turntable with a revealing hyper-elliptical stylus that will expose shortfalls in any pressings. This copy looks reasonably clean but as customary with latin American pressings it plays with light background noise and slight crackle and tics in places. No skips or jumps or any sign of excessive play.

This is one of the heaviest psych 45s to come out of Peru and accordingly commands high prices. Its reputation spread and it was eventually comped on Psychedelic Minds. I have only seen 2 or 3 copies surfacing in the last 10 years.
