Description

Lou Donaldson ‎New Faces Sounds Blue Note 5021 10" LP Ear Lexington 1952.
Condition: The jacket condition is evident from photos. There are no seam splits, but it's unlaminated so there's some scuffing on front panel, and the original owner was kind enough to stamp his name on the back liner. The vinyl condition is VG+, and as that's pretty meaningless I'll try to describe. There is persistent background noise throughout. The crackle is esp noticeable at the beginning of both sides but eases up during the first tracks. There are small scratches (no gouges), some of which are audible for some grooves and some of which are not. The overall sound is bright and bold. Donaldson's alto in particular cuts through spectacularly.
