CONDITION DETAILS HYPE-STICKER on front. Unopened/new vinyl, factory sealed, and in excellent condition. Slight discoloration on back. Very mild-wear along spine. Section of shrink missing near top of spine. Minor wear to corners. Shrink is split near bottom of opening. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Primo Tenore is a collection of classical numbers by Luciano Pavarotti. Liner notes state: "This is the second recital of opera arias to be recorded by Luciano Pavarotti for London Records. In his first album the young Italian tenor concentrated on the music of Donizetti and Verdi. This new program also contains selections by these masters, plus selections by seven other Italian composers. Viewed historically, this compendium might be termed 'The Art of Writing for the Tenor Voice as Practiced in Italy from the Early Nineteenth Century to the Present.' Whate4ver, it is most emphatically the latest document on the art of Luciano Pavarotti, a singer who has quickly earned international esteem for the clarion beauty of his voice and for the patrician command of style he brings to all music he performs."
