Description

This is from a large Classical Vinyl LP collection that I have acquired. As with most classical collectors, the owner was very careful and diligent with his collection. Many of the vinyl look like they haven't been played or have been played on very few occasions and in some cases items are sealed/mint unplayed!!.

Please add me to your favourite seller list! for any updates, as I have about 20 boxes of classical LPs & Box Sets waiting to be listed - there are many gems that rarely turn up for sale on Ebay.

VINYL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

In nice clean condition, very little evidence of the vinyl being played

light minor/superficial surface marks/light whispy lines visible - nothing serious - no deep scratches - Have checked vinyl under a bright light

I have listened to Side 1 & Side 5 which have the minor surface marks. - only occasional light background clicks - the other 4 sides are in Near

Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible.

No writing on the record label

No sticky residue or discoloration.

Except for spidermarks & light spindle wear.

THE BOX & BOOKLET (LIBRETTO) IN EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT CONDITION

The box has general light storage wear from rubbing etc i.e the front of the BOX has some light minor scuff marks / small layer loss on spine

In general, the Box has been nicely cared for. Only very light age related wear - No splits  or tears.

GRADINGS ARE BASED ON RECORD COLLECTOR

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
