Description
ARTIST / TITLE : MARIJATA - “PAT THOMAS INTRODUCES”
LABEL : Gapophone / Gapo LP 013 / Original from Ghana, mid 70's
CONDITION (Record/Cover) : VG / VG to VG+
COMMENT : Amazing original afro funk, simply one of the best LP from Ghana. Solid, deep & ultra funky all the way, 2 tunes have been compiled by Soundway, the rest of the record is as solid, what a beautiful album, and so hard to find. The record is overall VG (some tunes play vg- to vg, some vg+ or more), plays with light crackles / constant minimal surface noise, a bit harder on some parts (especially at the beg. of A1), lots of thin scratches, surface scuffs, nothing too deep, occasional light clicks, not serious, no jump, plays LOUD and STRONG. A perfect copy to make your dancefloor one step deeper or to blow your mind softly at home. Still a very enjoyable and satisfying listening. Clean labels, with writing on B side (please see picture).
The cover is used but not abused, graded VG to VG+ (please see picture).

GRADING CODES :
M = Record in new condition, never played or looking like it. Sleeve as new.
EX = Record in superb condition, very rarely played, may present slight visible marks but no audible ones. Sleeve may present slight signs of natural aging.
VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ring wear...
VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks, many surface noises are noticeable. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...
VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
