Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1969 US ELEKTRA RECORDS RED LABEL CENSORED LP PRESSING OF THE 1969 album titled 'Kick Out The Jams', with ten all-time early proto punk / hard rock classics from MC5. It is Elektra Records U.S. catalog number EKS 74042, gatefold cover with a small drill hole near one upper corner indicating a promo or a cutout copy. Record comes packaged inside its cover in its original late 1960s Elektra Records stock inner sleeve.
Recorded "live" at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit
Censored version with "motherf**ker" replaced with "brothers and sisters" from the intro to A2.
Noted in runout as "RADiO VERSiON". Although this version is on 1969-70 red large "E" label, the similarity to promo version would indicate a late 1969 release.

Visual condition of play surface is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks; however I have to grade the record VG++/EX due to the fact that a previous owner has written her name twice on both labels in thin ballpoint. Condition of cover is VG+ with similar writing on both sides of the inside of the gatefold cover, a little contact and ring wear, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners. Elektra Records stock inner sleeve has the aforementioned drill hole and small splits i the middle of two edges which I have repaired with clear tape.
