MELLOW CANDLE LP - SWADDLING SONGS (DERAM - MEGA RARE!!)

This mega rarity was issued on the DERAM label and issued in 1972 (Catalogue number: SDL 7.  The stamped matrix numbers in the deadwax area are ZAL11141.P-1W and ZAL11142.P-2W   see picture).  The matrix numbers indicate that this is the original British pressing of the vinyl (the repress matrix numbers are hand-carved and not pressed). On side 2 the record and label are EXCELLENT.  Very light surface sound between tracks only. On Side 1 there is an audible/feelable surface mark on track 1 and track 3 which extends into the first five seconds of track four (see picture) - despite the two audible (when played on turntable)/feelable surface marks it plays through very nicely without any skips.  The rest of the tracks on Side 1 are VG++.  The label on side 1 has some creasing and what seems like a superficial tear mark (or it is possibly just some thin paper that got stuck over the label, because the song titles are still visible on the label - I did not try to remove anything from the label!!) - (see picture).  The cover is VG+ (small price stamp on front; all seams intact; please note: the white shiny spot on the front cover picture is caused by the camera flash).    One of the rarest records on the planet!!!  Very collectable!!
