ULTRA ULTRA RARE 1972 ORIGINAL UK/SA STEREO FIRST PRESS (most likely a UK export pressing for South Africa) of Mellow Candle’s first and only studio album entitled Swaddling Songs, pressed on the DERAM label (SDL.7). Vinyl housed in original blue Deram inner sleeve. Definitely the rarest LP I’ve ever listed!! Original first press as confirmed by STAMPED matrix numbers in the deadwax area, which are: ZAL-11141.P-1W and ZAL-11142.P-2W respectively (view pictures - the repress matrix numbers are hand-carved and not stamped. Solid confirmation of the first press). UBER RARE especially found in our shores!! An original!! Has been sold at least twice in the past here on eBay in 2016 and 2014 (you may ask a question if you need the links as eBay did not allow me to put the links)

The sleeve is in VG- to VG condition (see pictures). The gatefold sleeve is still very much intact and solid. No splits, tears, writing etc. It mainly has brownish foxing spots noticeably all over including inside of the gatefold, light ring-wear on the front and back; brownish mark at the back. Otherwise, a decent sleeve. The Deram inner sleeve is in nice VG+ shape :-)

The vinyl is in VG+ condition; very very very few tiny hairlines away from excellent, which is really a pleasure for this monster rarity. Play-tested, sounds great! The labels are in VG+ condition, super white and clean, tiny wear on the spindle hole for Side 2 but otherwise, superb!

An LP of such enormous calibre and rarity comes once in a lifetime, more so found in South Africa! One truly for the serious collector!! Good offers and questions are more than welcome.

I cannot guarantee any deliveries of parcels before Christmas using the Post Office. The buyer has the choice of ordinary airmail using our Post Office (with tracking number) from South Africa (normally delivers between 14 days to 30 days) and accepts the possible prolonging during the December period. I will gladly mail this LP with no additional postage cost for the buyer using our Post Office. Or the buyer can opt for a courier of their choice or I will gladly get the cheapest quote. In the case of the courier, the buyer would pay the difference of my standard shipping rate of $25 (which was made free through the Post Office method) from the quote of the courier. Using the courier also means the buyer accepts the possibility of additional charges through customs. Should the buyer require insurance, I would inform them of the cost; but please note I cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage during transit should you choose to not insure. No full or partial refunds on this LP as I have given the best and most honest description of the content with actual images; please ask any questions to be sure.

Payment for this LP would be appreciated within three days (special arrangements can be made prior). The buyer accepts to wait for my invoice before making payment. If eBay checks you out directly and prompts for payment, I will refund through PayPal and send my own invoice due to the fact that they would hold/freeze the funds for 21 days!
