Description
Here is an incredible Still Sealed copy of the first Beatles album proper, Please Please Me in the original UK configuration and artwork on a Mobile Fidelity Sounds Labs MFSL-1-101 vinyl LP pressing. The jacket is a near mint and only for a small crack on the spine (not a split) just below the title in a blank area. There is no ring wear, cuts, splits, dings, dents, holes, notches, rips or tears. The loose perforated polybag is in tact and has the rare Union Jack sticker describing the audiophile pressing and configuration. This pressing is by the famous audiophile label Mobile Fidelity Sounds Labs and was press by JVC in Japan. These pressings were/are famous for there dead quiet surfaces as the vinyl compound used in those days was intended for Quad LP’s which were required to be extra quiet for the information extracted. It worked even better on standard stereo LP’s. This is the stereo mix by the way and is the original UK track sequence and includes the hits, I Saw Her Standing There, Please Please Me, Love Me Do, Do You Want To Know A Secret and Twist And Shout (all UK hits before the US market caught on and was forced to release I Want To Hold Your Hand, this album was a hit in the UK and went under the radar from the US market, they didn’t know what they were doing even back then!!) Rare sealed copy of this audiophile issue!!!!
