Description
MIKE OLDFIELD "Platinum" Original UK LP from 1979 (Virgin V2141). This one is a very rare withdrawn second Pressing with the real “SALLY” as second track on Side 2 (Side 2 Matrix Number V-2141-B-2). Only the first (B-1) and second (B-2) had the original Sally. As Oldfield collectors know this version was quickly withdrawn and was replaced by a completely different track “Into Wonderland” eventhough the label still stated “Sally”. Only a few copies of the first and second pressing exist and hardly ever turn up for sale. Comes with the original inner sleeve. One of his best albums and was never issued in the US. Other tracks include: Platinum , Woodhenge, Punckadiddle, I got rhythm. Both Sleeve and record are EX.
