  • 1959 Second pressing with '203 South Washington Ave. Bergenfield, N.J.' on the labels.
  • DEAD WAX SIDE 1:  H RVG PRLP-7076-A AB
  • DEAD WAX SIDE 2:  RVG A PRLP-7076-B AB


VINYL:  Side A: VG / Side B: VG+ (I grade a little on the curve for 1950's DG LP's. If this was a newer record I would probably grade side A: VG- / B: VG ) 


Side B: has pops here and there but plays a very enjoyable, strong sounding, passable VG+.

Side A: right out of the dead wax it has moderately loud pops for exactly 1 minute (I used a stop watch)& then much quieter pops for one more minute. There is a mostly surface scratch that goes along the grooves and causes a buzz for a few seconds. Other than that it plays pretty much like side B which is rather clean, except for the occasional pop, & is quite enjoyable.  I don't recall any surface "hiss" on either side.


SLEEVE: VG- / G+ taped on all 3 sides (you should enlarge the picture to see it), general wear, some staining in back, a scuff on the front & a small name in back & yet it is perfectly serviceable & really not that bad lookingexcept that the tape is more obvious when you actually hold it in your hand than in the picture. 

 

I bought this off Discogs from a reputable seller who graded this sleeve VG+ I guess I grade differently
