Description

"Walkin'" by Miles Davis All Stars includes two sessions from 1954, one by Miles Davis Sextet, and the other by Miles Davis Quintet, that were originally released on two 10 inch LPs (there's one previously unreleased tune here). It was released in 1957 by Prestige Records (mono, PRLP 7076, deep groove, RVG in the dead wax). 

The Sextet musicians: Horace Silver, Jay Jay Johnson, Percy Heath, Lucky Thompson, Kenny Clarke. In the Quintet: Davey Schildkraut, Horace Silver, Percy Heath, Kenny Clarke. And, of course, Miles Davis on both sessions.

The vinyl is in EX condition, with a scratch on side one that causes clicks for several seconds at the start of the 2nd song on side 1. Otherwise only very light background noise is discernible during the quiet parts. The cover is VG+, with light rubbing on the front, writing on the back at the top left and bottom right corners, small spots of loss at front and back bottom, small bump and the beginnings of a seam split at the bottom right corner.
