MILES DAVIS Milestones (VG+/EX) Vinyl LP
Record label/brand: Columbia CL 1193 upc/mpn: None year: 1958
Mono with the Columbia Six Eye logo label. Deep Groove both sides. Dead wax inscription is CXLP43598 1-D on side one. Side two is XLP43599 1-D.
Cover is Very Good Plus. There is some ring wear (see scan) and shelf wear on the bottom. Corners are nice and sharp and spine is straight. Back cover has the number 197Vinyl is in excellent condition. There is some surface noise but it is minimal.

Review: "Kind Of Blue" might have recieved most of the acclaim but Milestones, the recorded debut of the Miles Davis Sextet, is in the same league. This remarkable super group was arguably the greatest one Davis ever led. "Two Bass Hit" features the two saxes trading off with fire and "Billy Boy" showcases the Red Garland trio (showing what they learned from Ahmad Jamal), but "Straight, No Chaser" really demonstrates what a powerhouse band this was. - Scott Yanow
