We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.     NEKTAR ~ tour-de-force  ...sounds like THIS:
NEKTAR struck it big initially in Germany, although they were all Englishmen, led by creative guitarist/vocalist Roye Albrighton. At the height of the progressive rock era (early 1970's) Nektar won acclaim not only for their ambitious early concept albums ( 'Journey To The Center Of The Eye' and 'A Tab in the Ocean' ) but also for their spectacular live shows, featuring both the band's unique Cosmic Psych/ Heavy progressive blends.
    Not dissimilar to early '70s Hawkwind as both have the aggressive edgy heavy-rock formatting which phases into melodic textured passages.
    The tracks are often long variations on themes stretched with cosmic Hammond organ meeting dramatic theatrical guitar flourishes, battles in soloing, both instruments colorizing to dramatic effect.
    Nektar's unique light/heavy approach rolls directly into the next track, "New Day Dawning", opening with great restraint before taking flight with Roye's aggressive leads and Taff Freeman's surging Hammond organ. This track in particular has 'blow away' the listener tendencies with the seizure-inducing INTENSITY mobilized in the climax of this track (following the cute "quote" from the Beatles' "Norwegian Wood" tossed into the boiling musical stew just for the fun of it). Overall the listener experiences an astronomical musical singularity of insane energy. The album reacts as a throbbing musical supernova fully inflamed in the "gold standard" of heavyrock firepower ... Those were the days!. 
  1. Two additional standout tracks deserve mention: lead track side 2, "1-2-3-4" and the later "A Day in the Life of a Preacher" each a humming dynamo of crackling currents. Elsewhere, side one closer, "Whatcha Gonna Do" incites riots-in-the-mind as found here played "live."
        Overall, "Sounds Like This" remains a compelling adventure, quite capable in full-on fury and muscular creativity ...
