Description
On offer is an original 1967 monaural pressing of the Rolling Stones' LP Between the Buttons, London LL 3499. After 50 years the cover is still in the original shrink wrap. The record comes in the original London inner sleeve.
The record plays fine, sounds mostly very good -- full and bright. The vinyl has much of its original shine and gloss. It also has a number of hairlines and a few light scratches. The record plays with some light surface noise which is noticeable in quieter parts but is never dramatic. Also some occasional clicks. Overall it's an enjoyable listen, and there are no skips or catches.
Record grades about Very Good by the Record Collector magazine definition "The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch." The labels show only slight wear.
The cover is in Excellent condition. The original shrink is in place but has pulled away from maybe 40% of the cover near the opening. The shrink is a bit dirty in places, and maybe the cover would look better taken out of the shrink. But the plastic has helped protect the cover over the years. Still, there is some slight wear and slight discoloration on the back. The inner is crisp and has no splits. Does have a crease or two.
