MOTLEY CRUE: original 1982 press kit. CONDITION:  EXCELLENT, all is intact. Very rare 20 page press kit made by original managers Coffman & Coffman before the band was signed to Elektra consisting of  ads, pictures, clippings and early press releases (one gives Vince's age as 21 and mentions  his "unique styling and versatile range.") Another bit of hype states that "Motley Crue is not a rebellion but a revolution in rock. A return to the hard driving sound of the Beatles re-energized for the '80s." There are reprinted articles from Music Connection, Bam, Sounds, LA Weekly and local papers, a great orig. ad promoting Leathur LP & 3 local gigs in Dec '81, local club ads from the Whisky, Country Club & The Roxy from '81 and at the end there are five black & white photographic prints, 1 for each member including Tommy sitting on a chair, Vince's towering airbrushed hair and 1 full band shot (see pic.) The pictures are by Michael Pinter and are similar to the ones on TFFL's back cover only bigger, better and more detailed. Tommy Lee is a different shot but Nikki & Mick look the same & Vince has that strange altered hair. Check out my eBay myworld page by clicking on my seller ID. Comes in heavy paper 3-ring binder with plastic front cover. Even if you are a certified Motley Crue freak I doubt that you have this!

I have bought & sold records  for over 20 years and rarely will I grade a used record higher than EX, M- is the highest. I don’t call anything Mint, not even a sealed LP. I also grade LPs on a turntable NOT with a light bulb.
