Description

Mal Waldron, "Left Alone" (Bethlehem BCP 6045) RARE original mono album by the great Mal Waldron, dedicated to and inspired by his old boss, Billie Holiday. Played by Mal Waldron's trio, with guest artist and fellow legend Jackie McLean on the title track. The cool cover is a strong VG on the front side, VG++ on the back, with a nearly 3 inch seam split in the lower right hand corner being its most notable flaw. The vinyl is Mint-minus after all the decades, in terrific shape -- whoever previously owned this gem must have spun it no more than a time or three. Sight graded. Strict grading.
