This is the third LP to appear on the very collectible Vertigo Swirl record label from 1969. It's not Mint, but a great playable copy with plenty of enjoyment left. Like all my records, It has been cleaned on a record cleaner to optimise the audio quality and then play graded on an audiophile deck to the UK Rare Record Collector Guide. Please read the listing fully before placing a bid!
Cover Condition: The cover has done it's job nicely and with the exception of the fairly large sticker tear on the front top right hand corner, is still quite presentable at first glance . But upon closer inspection it does have wear on the top and bottom seams, with a split approximately 3 inches to the bottom seam where the record slides into. Some of the original colour is still present on both the top and bottom seams.                            The spine edge is largely untouched with only significant wear to the backside edge and corners, all title lettering is present.                            The opening edges of this thick card cover are fairly straight, with only the lightest touch of feathering starting on the front gatefold edge.                            There is a 2 inch sticker tear to the top right hand corner of the front cover, but apart from this, the front cover has a lot of it's original colour with only light signs rubbing. The rear of the cover is in virtually the same as the front, but has no sticker tears.                            The inside of the gatefold cover is beautiful and has hardly been touched by the looks of it.
Overall I would grade the cover to be in a Very Good Minus (VG-) condition.                              
Record Condition: Visually under normal day light it shows no marks at all (Except the mark described on side 2 below!), but viewed under a Halogen lamp, it shows quite a few light hairline marks and a few very light stylus scratches. There are no nasty heavy scratch marks visible and it retains much of it's original luster. Both of the record labels are fairly clean and bright with spindle marks all directed at the hole, showing that it has been played, but care has been taken.                              Upon play testing this album, side 1 plays very well with very near perfect audio. There is great separation and depth within the soundscapes and it plays loud and clear, with just the odd very low level intermittent surface noise, which is hardly heard between tracks and quite sections. Not all are affected and this is due to the very light surface scratches only, it really is, still an enjoyable listen! 
Overall I would grade side 1 (Only) as Excellent Minus (EX-) condition.      
                            Side 2 has a mark on the 1st track (and small one on the run in), that to me looks like a "heat" or "chemical" mark? This looks a hell of a lot worse than it affects the audio. It causes a very light "fisssh" sound as the stylus glides over it and can only be really heard during the run in and if you really listen hard to the back of the soundscape. It's largely hidden very well within the music and in my opinion, can be mistaken for a "high hat" sound that's within the soundscape of the audio during the first track. Even with this defect, the audio still has great separation and depth within the soundscapes and it plays loud and clear.                            The audio is then largely unaffected by anything until the track "Mister you're a better man....". Here there are some light and sometimes repetitive clicks which are not overly distracting from the music in my opinion, but due to the quiet nature of this track they stand out, lets you know you're still listing to a record and not a crummy CD. The remaining two tracks are back to near perfect audio.
  Overall I would grade side 2 (Only) as Very Good (VG) condition. Strictly graded, taking into account the problem with the 1st and 3rd track.  
This LP has been strictly graded and will not turn into anything else, If you are looking for a Mint copy....this is not it! But if you want a nice playable and still enjoyable copy to listen too, you could have yourself a bargain here! I'm being really picky and honest here with my grading, as I want any prospective buyer to be pleased with their purchase.

Extras: Comes with a Swirl inner sleeve to "complete the package" with no splits, but has a couple of small "nic" tears near the diecut center hole.
