Taken from  "The Landsdowne series". This is a four track 7" (MONO) E.P. Recorded in (1962) & released on the "Columbia" label in (1963) Very RARE & not listed anywhere (as yet) in collectors books. This will be the only existing example anywhere in the worldwide listings.

For your information below, is a rundown of the overall condition...

Condition :

Is everything...The vinyl is near mint in audio & apperance. As close as you could wish for such a rare original. I have graded this as excellent, but could possibly go higher & grade this as a near mint record, but will stick with this grade given to avoid any possible disappointment. No warping, no scratched surface marks, or ingrained dust etc. Test played to make extra sure of satisfaction to a new home. I have viewed the record under daylight & very harsh halogen bulb, there are absolutely no negative issues to list. 

If anything you will only see some very,very light or wispy hairlined fracture from the record being stored in the cover. These are only visable under extemely bright light. Please note : THERE ARE NO HEAVY SCRATCHED MARKS, as to cause any impairment to the audio. Overall a very RARE & clean peice of vinyl. In the test play given by myself I could hear no, pops, repetitive ticks, skpibacks, crackle or distortion. Plays perfectly safe and as nearly new.

The front cover is very good plus condition. With no major issues e.g. No handwritten names in ink or biro pen, no ripping, damp, dust or major wear. The "Clarifoil" laminate is also still intact. A very slight part of wear here & there to the corners, side opening. 

The back (matt) cover has some sign of age..Down to just that, Its age & the type of card used. Made in 1963 & printed in Great Britain. All tabs on the flipback cover are intact, and the spine at the side is also free from any splits or major issues. A tiny part of detatchment at the spine is about the worst it gets. but this is being highly critical in my part of the description.

The "Columbia" labels are on both sides in amazing shape, with very little (if any) sign of prior use. Under a certain angle a couple of wispy/light spindle marks. No handwritten names here either. Very clean & fresh looking, with no damage or snap to the centre. 100% perfectly legible text.

So with all this said...

Please have a look at the extra large view & photographs provided below for your own decission as to the quality. You can also, if you like to know a little more history read along the back cover notes.

The record and its contents are now stored in a smoke free home, inside a polythene protector. This will be sent as seen/described.

I pack all records with care & seal with "FRAGILE" masked tape & labels. If youm have any other prefered method of sending/posting please just ask. Please note : I will have to send this registered post & insured. This is best for both parties involved. And will help to avoid any possible loss/damage during transit.

PLEASE....Do not miss this one. I don't know if another will ever come up for sale soon or even again. Its very rare & will be popular amongst jazz and record collectors alike.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside the cover inside a polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape.

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
