Mike Westbrook - Release LP - Rare Deram Mono 1st Issue
Amazing condition, 1969, Tan labels, Sounds incredible! 1968 album in EX+ condition for the record (if you can forgive the sticker residue on the side two label) and VG+ for the sleeve. It has been playgraded and very enjoyable it was too!
The band contains the cream of the UK modern jazz scene- Westbrook (pno)/ John Surman (bar)/ Mike Osborne (alto)/ Bernie Living (alto)/ George Khan (ten)/ Dave Holdsworth (tpt)/ Malcolm Griffith (tbn)/ Paul Rutherford (tbn)/ Harry Miller (bs)/ Alan Jackson (dms).
This record is rare enough in stereo but in mono and this condition.... you may have to wait years for another one.
Like many of the more interesting records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 60. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new. His musical taste was generally towards the avant garde and his collection numbered about 15,000. I will be selling it over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
