Milhaud: La Creation Du Monde

- Both sides are 1st Mother, 2nd Stamper in the Mastering Sequence.

The "LDS" in place of the familiar LSC means this one of the Soria Series, which were special edition RCA's from the late 50's to early 60's. They feature custom fabric boxes with gold embossed letters and often original full color paintings commissioned to celebrate some aspect of the composer or work on record. Also included in the package is a substantial color booklet which has more original art and original writing about the project...printed in Switzerland!
This is a true audiophile or golden ears recording in the recommended 1S 1S pressing. The sonics on this record are extra good, as is the performance by the BSO. The Living Stereo Catalogue gives it 10+ Excellent (also recommended by: Bob Johnson, Jim Bradford, Carol B Keasler , Professor Jery Canter, Steven Wilner & Jon Valin)
Condition:
Cover is VG++ hint of ring on the white left area of the front c. ..."M6" in blue pencil upper middle fc..Minor, light corner bumps in 2 corners...light shelf wear...basically just 1 minor thing too many for M- ...I think this is probably a conservative grade.... the colors are vivid and crisp and the materials look almost new...the custom booklet is M-
Record is M- slight sleeve scuffs and impressions on dead wax and a few small scratches, the vinyl has 95% of original luster, and the center hole is very clean with little if any spindle traces or other marks.
