Description

Minor Threat "Salad Days" 7" EP 1st Pressing MINT

DESCRIPTION: Mint condition 1st Pressing of Minor Threat's final record, the "Salad Days" 7" EP.   It was recorded right after the band broke up in 1983, but not released until 1985. Dischord No. 15, Dischord Records, Washington, DC.  
 Black vinyl, with long fold-out insert.
 For your amusement, I have included some photos of Susie, the Dischord House dog who is seen running with me on the back cover of "Salad Days".  I dressed her up in a dry cleaner bag, with one of Ian's skateboard kneepads on her head, with straws and cotton balls stuck in holes the kneepad.  She was very patient with us.  I ended up using one of the photos for a Christmas card.  Sorry, the photos of Susie are NOT included in this auction - they are just here for you to giggle at.
CONDITION / PROVENANCE:  This record is in mint condition, has never been played, and has been kept away from light and dust since it was made 27 years ago.  It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."  Please see my auction for other punk/hardcore flyers and records as well as other jetsam I'll be putting up for sale......
