Mott The Hoople Self-Titled LP UK 1st Press SUPER AUDIO [Ex+/Ex-]

Description

An original 1st press of THE HOOPLE on UK CBS. Matrix A3/B2. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the gold hype sticker from the chart period. We also have the lyric insert. There's also the original generic white inner. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen slight use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. An absolute cracker of a copy...crank this one up to max...it will keep delivering. A really clean signalled copy thanks to the low level of use. At worst the odd static crackle here and there in 'Trudi's Song' and perhaps a couple of isolated minor ticks. But this track is bloody fussy and it's hard to even find it playing this well! Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Not quite up to the standard of the vinyl but still very tidy indeed. Nice clean front and rear surface with minimal ageing and wear. The hype sticker is positioned well and intact. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. The spine is 100% intact, but showing just a light hint of ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Vg+) Light touch of ageing at the extremities. Otherwise - smart.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
