Description

An original 1st press of 'THE HOOPLE' on the UK BS label. Matrix A2/B2. The vinyl comes housed in an original over with the silver HYPE sticker top right. Also included is the original lyric insert and the generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out one mark through Born Late - that does sound. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Difficult to find fault really. The only tracks I detected a bit of background was during 'Trudi's Song' & 'Looking Glass'. These are the fussiest low-key tracks and finding them perfectly clean is a difficult find. Anything audible will be relatively low in the mix and not distracting. The mark mentioned above in 'Born Late 58' - does sound as a tick through the first half of the song. Thankfully it's quite a loud track - so not as intrusive as it could have been. Overall, it's a really well preserved copy and you can hear it in the audio. 
Cover (Ex) Difficult to find in top class condition - but this example is in extremely rude health. Totally unaffected by light fade with all colours looking bold and untarnished. Front and back are clean and flat. Just one crease top right on the front - and a very small sticker removal mark. There's almost no sign of edge wear at all and the openings are still sharp. The spine is superb - 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Ex) No issues. Very nice.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
