Description

An original 1st press of 'THE HOOPLE' on the UK BS label. Matrix A2/B2. The vinyl comes housed in an original over. Also included is the original lyric insert and the generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. You will detect a touch of light static in a couple of tracks per side [e.g. Trudi's song - as is difficult to avoid]. Nothing upfront - all low in the mix and of minor significance. Overall, it's a really sweet player.
Cover (Ex-) Difficult to find in top class condition - but this example has been cared for. Largely unaffected by light fade with all colours looking bold and untarnished. Front and back are clean and flat without creasing or wear. There's a bit of edge wear at the top edge, but that's all really - the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Vg+) Bit of ageing places.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
