Description

NIRVANA: LOVE BUZZ/BIG CHEESE ORIGINAL SUBPOP 7" UNNUMBERED

Yeah ..! Here it is, one of the very few unnumbered copies of NIRVANA original first record. It has all the characters that testify the authenticity of this jewel: Alice Wheeler clearly readable, a large red line instead of the number; A-side etching: Why don't you trade those guitars for shovels? (without inverted commas) L-31540 SP-23-A machine stamped k disc B-side L-31540X SP-23-B machine stamped k disc Letters: 2mm high.
Bought straight from Subpop via mail order; played 2-3 times (Thorens turntable, Shure diamond stylus) one of which to make a cassette copy, then stored safely in my records collection for 18 years; on sale for the first time; needless to say this record is near from being new.

Expect to add a reasonable price for a strong and safe mailing (registered mail or better , Chronopost or other express transport)
Very serious sale so only serious bidders, thanks.

To answer several questions concerning the condition of this record here are some additional descriptions to be more precise and complete:

Sleeve: The sleeve is near perfect, no fold, very light record ring wear only visible under the reflection of a bright light; the paper is very smooth and sharp; no stains, no writing, no dog earred corners..
No insert of course as there was none except for an original Nirvana sticker bought from SubPop then and that i'll gladly offer to the possible winning bidder.

Record: As i said, it's been very few played, so, maybe some very light background noises could be heard on the silent part of the record (run-in & run-out) otherwise it plays perfectly, but does this record intended to be played again now..?
One defect of origin to be mentioned, on the A-side dead track, a small mark of glue made probably when the label was stuck (only on the dead track not on the music track) It could probably be "washed out" with a drop of solvent but i don't even try it.

To resume and as i already said the record is very near from the state where i received it 18 years ago.

This record is now on the Love Buzz owners list here
