This is not a "RARE" item... It is the Holy Grail of all Eric Carmen memorabilia!!!
As the original and only manager of The CYRUS ERIE band featuring Eric Carmen, I had stored safely away for years this unplayed 45 of the band's very first release. This Epic Records release was intended to be Eric's "Sparrow" as the A side, but studio politics caused the hastily recorded and shorter (one take) of Eric's "Get the Message" (2:26) to be hyped as the A side instead of the painstakingly recorded and near perfect, three minute long (3:05), "Sparrow". Probably a good thing though as the B side, because the producers totally butchered the final mix from the lavish and "classically inspired" production that Eric brilliantly wrote and masterminded. It ended up as some sort of psychedelic abortion, hacked up by the studio producers' learned overdubs, at least in Eric and the band's opinion.
Because of the extreme rarity of this item, I must ship worldwide for $25 U.S. and locally in the States for $12.95 only in a very well protected BOX with insurance included.
The original protective Epic Records sleeve is included and is also in MINT condition!
