This auction is for one of the most cult recordings ever released from the Hellenic scene, Necromantia / Varathron – “The Black Arts / The Everlasting Sins” split LP, original 1st press vinyl released in 1992 from Black Power Records, made in Greece, hand-signed and dedicated by Morbid. Catalogue number is [BPR-004]. I own the record since 1992 and it has not been played since 1995.

From my personal collection. Vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition, with the occasional superficial hairline mark / scuff visible on the playing surface that don’t affect play; the labels are clean, with almost zero spindle wear; The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition; with minor shelf / ring wear (due to storage), a few light scuffs on the corners / edges, no scuffing / creasing on the body of the sleeve. It comes with the original inner sleeve in MINT condition with no creasing, from a smoking free environment; hand-signed and dedicated by Morbid (a.k.a. The Magus, Magus Wampyr Daoloth, George Zaharopoulos) as you can see from the attached photo. The photos are from the actual record I am selling.

Necromantia is a Greek black metal band that was founded in 1989. A dominant characteristic is the lack of rhythm guitar in their music, which is substituted by an 8-string bass guitar.

Varathron is a Greek black metal band from Ioannina, Epirus, Greece, formed in 1988.
