Description

TRADITION TLP 1020.  NEGRO PRISON SONGS FROM THE MISSISSIPPI STATE PENITENTIARY.  These are field recordings done by Alan Lomax in 1947.  If you've never heard this LP you'll probably be surprised and the sound quality of the recordings.  They are better than one might expect although no one was more experienced than Alan Lomax at recrding under adverse conditions.  The cover grades near mint and is still in the shrink wrap.  The record grades near mint with full gloss.

GRADING

Near Mint or Mint Minus- Top condition with the most minor of wear.

VG++ - Not quite near mint but a super clean, desirable copy.

VG+ -Shows signs of wear but no significant defects.

VG -Obvious signs of wear but still has life in it. VG does NOT mean beat.

VG Minus -Moderate to heavy wear. OK if you need a filler copy.

G -Borders on unplayable. Only acceptable for the absolute rarest record.
