Description

Released in July 1974 on Reprise Records, On the Beach is widely recognized as one of Neil Young's absolute masterpieces and serves as the dark, brilliant centerpiece of his legendary Ditch Trilogy. Recorded following the massive commercial success of Harvest, the album presents a raw, bleak, and deeply melancholic look into the underbelly of fame and the counterculture era. Featuring iconic tracks like Walk On, See the Sky About to Rain, and the hauntingly hypnotic title track, the music delivers a stunning folk rock performance highlighted by minimalist blues arrangements and contributions from members of the Band. This landmark record remains highly collectible due to its historical impact and the distinct, vibrant floral print hidden on the inside of the jacket sleeve. This beautiful original US pressing features vinyl in Excellent to Very Good Plus condition, housed inside a clean cover showing some age wear.
