Neutral Milk Hotel ‘Everthing Is/Snow Song, Pt.1’ 7" (Cher Doll - CHER 002)

Released while NMH was still an outlet for the songwriting of Jeff Mangum, instead of a fully formed band. The recording was originally the second release on the fledgling Seattle label Cher Doll Records in 1994. 

Original Signed Photos

Included in the sale are four original photos, printed on a home-printer and signed by Jeff, Julian, Jeremy and Scott.  I acquired these several year ago from Dom Martin who used to run Earworm records and who now runs the the fantastic Great Pop Supplement.  Dom was an early Elephant Six supporter and released records by The Minders, Of Montreal, the Gerbils and the Music Tapes to name a few.  Dom took the photos at the 12 Bar on Denmark Street in London on 22 May 1998, printed them that evening and got them signed by the band on the following evening when the band played for a second night.  This was when the band were at their creative peak, in fact it was the same month in which they released 'In an Aeroplane...' in the UK.
