Description
Up for auction is a real Nick Drake Rarity ‘Heaven in a Wild Flower’ from 1985 in Fantastic Condition
Cat no. ILPM 9826-B
With the classic old island logo label (See picture) and huge Drake write-up on the back cover this gem is an absolute must for any Nick Drake collector and one that doesn’t come along often at all.
When this record was released in 1985 interest in Nick Drake was virtually non existent, even with producer Joe Boyd and the record company doing their best to promote Drakes work it still wouldn’t sell, which is why this records printing run was so short lived - Instead in the following year, 1986, on the Hannibal Label the Box set ‘Fruit Tree’ was released containing Drakes 3 studio albums plus ‘Time of no reply’. It wasn’t until the ‘90s this mans genius was finally welcomed by the world and the rest is history…
This much sought after LP is in superb condition for its 22 years, & as such I am rating it a very conservative Excellent+
***Record will be despatched in a strong mailer with stiffener for protection - I believe records should arrive in the condition they are sent***
