Description
This is a chance to own an absolutely genuine original Nirvana Love Buzz 7". If you're looking at this then you probably know the details already, but this is Nirvana's first single released in 1988. There were only 1000 made numbered 1-1000 (Kurt Cobain owning number 1) and in addition there were around 200 with a "red slash" on the back cover given to family and friends of the band. This is one of the red slash 7 inches, it's estimated that 200 of these were made but it may have been as low as 100. This is an incredibly rare record and previous listings on ebay have sold for over £1000/$2000.
I am the second owner, I bought it about 6 years ago from a woman in San Francisco, the record has never been played - I haven't played it and I was assured that it had never been played by the previous owner. It is in absolutely superb condition, grading is EX+ as outlined here.
This is not an exaggeration, I find it impossible that a record released 18 years ago could be in absolutely mint condition therefore I won't list it as such, but it is in genuinely stunning condition with no obvious flaws on either the sleeve or the record itself and only some very minor wear visible. It's still in it's original plastic cover, the record and sleeve are virtually perfect - no wear on the edges, no folded corners etc. The record etchings are as follows -

I loved owning this record and I'm fully aware that once I sell it I'll probably never see another one in my lifetime. However I have rent to pay and $2000 records are a luxury I can't afford to have at the moment! If you have any questions then feel free to ask, I have attempted to take pictures of the record etchings and other features in detail but it proved difficult with my camera. Happy bidding!
