Hello, original first press of the Velvet Underground Andy Warhol lp. mono Verve label v-5008. If you seek MINT this is not the one for you, this one is for a music lover or someone who justs wants to own a copy of this truly rare record. Lets get the bads out of the way. Play tested on two different tables.My Stanton produced two quick skips....again two quick skips during Sunday Morning and Waiting for My man. My friend who has a very high end table said it did not skip on waiting for my man and played fine with mostly noise in some spots. I will sell it as it has two quick skips and cover myself with an honest description. So 2 quick skips and many light scratches, the lp actually sounds really good, no BS, it is an amazing sound and a different record as far as I am concerned in comparison to its stereo counterpart. Though it skips and has some background crackle intermittently it still is amazing to hear, would benefit from a pro cleaning. I have owned for many years and this record has become impossible to find at a reasonable price. Cover has some dirt wear....cover is also the famous torso pic edition....see pic...orig Verve inner sleeve. No splits or writing, nice tight spine and gatefold.Peeled banana...pls ask any questions I am happy to answer and do my best to give a good hands on description.
