This is the original DG 1959 first pressing on Decca DL 8948 Canadian issue .
Cover has spine and edge wear and has been repaired ( reglued)
Visually vinyl is a very glossy VG+ with scuff marks and and hairline scratches here and there .
Play graded on a high end audio system with a Kondo cartridge , sound is loud and clean with none to some very light background noise here and there that does not detract from enjoying this rare recording.
Her original records are extremely rare from this jazz singer who attempted suicide twice and then succeeded the third time with a combination of alcohol and Seconal on April 12, 1960 in an apartment in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York at the age of 28
