Oronzo\Rino De Filippi AS Awake - Aspetti Sociali

Italian pressing, Vroommm VRL 601 (~1970)

Obscure Italian library by Rino De Filippi on the sought after Vroommm label out of Milan (actually the very first release of the label). Certainly one of the best example of the deep Italian library music. Has that unique Italian industrial feeling like the "Meccanizzazione" or "Nel mondo del lavoro" Lps with obsessive and repetitive sounds. Complex and intriguing harpsicord, hammond and lisergic synthesizer melodies, hypnotic flutes and a very Alessandroni sounding guitar over many different rolling drums rhythms. Has odd jazz tempos, bossa tickings style and moody funk patterns with a few clean breaks too. Very rare!
