Holy grail alert! Top rare and one of my favourite Italian library ever with music by Oscar Rocchi and Franco Godi, Pop-Paraphrenia is just killer with incredible funk and jazz funk on side A while psychedelic and experimental jazz with electronics on side B.
Tullio De Piscopo providing some of the heaviest and crispiest drums (and breaks) ever on the killer Barigozzi flute and Rocchi hammond funk CONFABULANTE; more heavy drums on the fuzz electronics psych funk ITINERANTE; killer (I mean totally killer!) Fender rhodes funk jazz on FANTASTICA (with mad odd tempo drumming and superb Barigozzi's soprano sax); mental psychedelic flute jazz funk with crispy treated electric piano IMPREVEDIBILE; more soprano sax led amazing modal jazz on MORBOSA; superb beat laden lounge jazz funk on TATTILE and even the killer free jazz tune PAROSSISTICA!
Stellar experimental mood music on B side with the mental obsessive electronics and heavy fuzz theme SISTEMATICA, the killer electronic experimental jazz RICORRENTE, the moody psychedelic jazz OLFATTIVA and the killer free sax jazz ESPLOSIVA, but the whole record is great! Listen!
