Description
Up for sale in this auction is an extremely rare LP from OYSTERHEAD for their one and only LP "The Grand Pecking Order". Features Trey Anastasio of Phis, Les Claypool of Primus and Stewart Copeland of The Police. A supergroup to end all jam supergroups! This is an original pressing on Elektra Records as Catalogue Number 62677-1 and with a UPC of 075596267717. Complete with original insert in fantastic/excellent shape!
The record is in fantastic shape and sounds great overall with no skips, endless loops or large pops. The only reason I have rated it at VG+ is that on side one's intro groove there is a smudge that makes a faint noise for the first two rotations of the record's music. The record has a fade in so the music is extremely quiet during that part and the record is not affected anywhere else. It's really extremely faint and more superficial than anything. You can see it in the photo of the vinyl itself. It's likely that it could be removed with the proper care as it is NOT a scratch or anything of that nature. Without this one small smudge I would have rated the record somewhere between EX and NM conservatively. It sounds fantastic and is crisp all the way through. Center labels show me that this record was barely played if ever at all, no marring present and extremely clean labels. The jacket has a crease in the upper left corner which I have photographed. I have rated the jacket at VG because of this. Overall this record is in VG+ shape and is a rare piece of Phish / Police / Primus history! As stated earlier it is complete with printed insert in fantastic shape! Please see photos or ask questions before bidding.

- SS Still Sealed
- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
