Description

Argo ZRG 603 Rossini String Sonatas 2 & 4 and Donizetti Quartet arranged for string Orch played by the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields under Neville Marriner. Earliest oval 1969 stereophonic labels and nice low 1G1G stampers. Excellent all round, with pen & stain to rear . Really big sound to this. Matching Argo 506 of the other sonatas of this set also listed but never originally sold as a pair as this follows 2 years later.

This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, a mouthwatering single collection that I felt displayed remarkable taste and knowledge, full of rare chamber items, in a way very few collectors are as discerning, I wish I knew the guy. He appears to have transferred his Lp's on to reels and filed them away once recorded, so it's an immaculate parcel. They are all well worth a look and a bid.

Single lp's ship to the US for $8 air. Asia is $10, Europe $5 and Uk £2. Multiple wins vastly reduces the cost per item, and with 10 wins or more I subsidise the postage and pay the insurance. Insurance if required is $3, and I would recommend it for packages exceeding $100. Payment is preferred using Pay Pal for Credit Cards, checks, or well concealed US dollars, Euros, IMO's or UK Sterling, but all major currencies accepted, at rates given on Universal Currency Converter at http://www.xe.net/ucc/ . Please see my other auctions. I am a Trading Assistant - I can sell items for you!

Insurance of $3.00 should also be included if desired.
