Mozart - The Complete String Quintets  (Concert Hall Society CHS 1185-8, Germany 1956)

Mozart´s complete string quintets (K. 515, 174, 516, 406, 593, 614, 46) plus the Quintet with horn in E flat Major K. 407. Performed by The Pascal String Quartet (Jacques Thibaud (1st violin), Leon Pascal (viola), Maurice Crut (2nd violin), Robert Salles (cello)) with Walter gerhard (2nd viola) and Werner Speth (French horn on K. 407).

Very rare original box set, was released in 1956 on occasion of Mozart´s 200th birthday in a limited edition of 1000 copies only! Numbered and signed certificate inside the box (this is copy #549). Complete with original inner sleeves, insert with liner notes and flyer advertising this box set! Nice condition, a rare chance - good luck for bidding!! 

Condition cover:      NM- (front paste-on has tiny tear at upper edge, upper seam of front part has 1 crease mark)

Condition records:   EX  (hardly ever played with bright and glossy surfaces, only few light hairlines / surface traces from  inner sleeve which do mostly not affect playing. These vintage Concert Hall records didn´t have the best quality of vinyl and pressing..., played with stereo cartridge records play with bright and clear sound but with light background noise and the occasional light tic due to vinyl/pressing)

All items are send in solid cardboard mailers especially designed for shipping records with additional layer(s) of cardboard for stiffening and protection. I don´t use flimsy wrappers or aircraft pockets. Vinyl (protected by inner sleeve) will be removed from cover to prevent seam splits. Extra strong packaging (double mailers etc.) is available on request but will probably cause higher postage, please ask before paying if interested. 

Payment is expected within 1 week after the auction´s close.

Grading: All items are graded visually (under strong light source) and acoustically (at least spot checked). I use the standard grading system (M/NM/EX/VG/G...) to give an overall impression of the item´s condition added by a more precise statement of all occurring defects. I´ll only grade a record (or cover)as MINT if it is visually immaculate and unplayed (or if I´m sure that it was only played 2 or 3 times). All my gradings are guaranteed, if you´re not satisfied please contact me, send the record back and you´ll receive full refund (less postage). So bid with confidence.
