Paul McCartney and Wings - 'My Love / The Mess'. R 5985

Paul McCartney and Wings 1973 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'My Love / The Mess' 7" single. Offered here in stunning EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition, with very early 1A/1G stampers and complete with the original and rare RED SLEEVE. Released on the 23rd March 1973, these initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the custom 'Apple Records' label this single is definitely among Paul's finest solo work. The vinyl comes complete with the original plain red Apple sleeve in which only a select few copies came housed. These are very hard to locate and seldom come up for sale, this is a wonderful example grading at EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition. A fully complete early demo version of this fine McCartney single.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7YCE 21716-2 1 A KT

Side 2. 7YCE 21717-1 1 G KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition on the a-side and MINT- condition on the b-side.

Both labels are in MINT- condition. Some foxing to the sticker which is hard to photograph.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.
